In 2014, Kormotech launched the All-Ukrainian Initiative “Don’t leave us in the ATO”. The event supports owners and caretakers of abandoned animals in the warzone. Regardless of how many volunteers there are, the number of animals in the ATO is much bigger.
For more than three years we have been supplying food to the front and near-front zone: Volnovakha, Rubizhne, Dobropillya, Bakhmut, Dymytriv, Zaporizhya, Petrivka, Pokrovsk, Donetsk, Verbove, Makiyika, Horlivka, Yasynuvata, Luhansk, Novoazovsk, Mariupol, Novotroitske, Berdyansk and other cities. Over that time, we sent to the occupied territories more than 40 tons of rations for cats and dogs. Kormotech also arranges consultations by veterinarians and zoo advocates for all those who are not indifferent to the fate of abandoned animals.
Since 2017, the project has grown into a permanent collaboration of Kormotech with cat and dog shelters and zoo volunteers throughout Ukraine. More about the project.
