The tradition to take dog to work originated 17 years ago in the United States. Here, that practice is relatively new. For the first time the event “Take Your Dog to Work” was held in Ukraine in 2013, following the initiative by Kormotech.
The annual campaign develops animal-friendly infrastructure in Ukrainian cities, promotes the provision of comfortable conditions for home pets at offices, and is aimed at changing the status of the quadrupeds in the society.
At first, it were local Lviv-based companies that joined in. The festival was covered by regional and national media. Every year, both owners and employers show more interest in the event. In 2018, more than 248 companies from 53 cities in Ukraine joined the project. In 2019, a record number of participants joined the celebration of the day: 550 companies from 90 cities of Ukraine.
In 2020, the company, together with the CLUB 4 PAWS brand, restarted the project to further help Ukrainian offices become dog-friendly on a regular basis, not just once a year. That’s how the project “Paws in office” appeared.
We help companies who want to become dog-friendly, we provide detailed guidelines for the arrangement of dog’s personal space in the office so that they feel comfortable; for introduction to the colleagues and getting around at the new place, so everyone is happy after the working day ends.
